The news is full of stories that would make you think what's the point!

But thing we have to remember is who has the right to cancel your dreams. If you believe that God is guiding you somewhere then don't give up till you get there.

The route may be difficult and it may mean that you will have to make some tough choices but why not make 2012 the year that you started following your dreams.

So have been thinking. To make things easier this year how about we just make everything called Merge.
So no matter if it's Saturday night or a Sunday morning we just call youth thing merge.

Some weeks we will still be separated out in to school years when we need to talk about things in groups and every other Saturday night will still have a social feel it.

But hopefully it should make it easier for you to work out what's happening.

So what's on this Saturday night? That's right it's a merge social.

As 2011 draws to a close what are your lasting Memories from the past year?

Take a moment to think about what has God been doing over the past year with you and more importantly where are you going to journey together over 2012?

A new year can mean a fresh start and a chance to refocus again of the important things.

Take a few moments and write down:
1 thing you are not looking forward to in 2012.
1 person you always hoped would know Jesus like you know Jesus
Finally 1 thing you hoped you were better at by the end of 2012.

Now put this somewhere visible in your bedroom and take five minutes every morning to ask God these three things.

So when the end of 2012 comes around we will be able to see what God has been up too.
