Storehouse are hoping to give out 250 Christmas hampers which will include all the usual treats along with a bag of fresh produce with everything needed to make a full Christmas dinner.
We have been asked to provide 250 Christmas puddings this year.
As church won’t be open for the next two Sunday’s, we think it might be helpful if we open our garage for the next two Saturdays, 5th & 12th Dec (10am – 12 noon) to give folk an opportunity to donate.
Storehouse will collect the food from us on Monday 14th Dec so we just have 2 weeks to collect.
The Sponsor a Turkey scheme is also running again where you can donate £10 to buy a fresh Turkey for the hampers. You can donate online via their website or leave your donation with me & I will transfer a total amount from church.
If anyone wants to support Storehouse but can’t make it to our house, just get in touch with me and we can arrange to collect.
Walkway are also planning to give out some hampers to folk in our community. If you are able to support this, they would appreciate donations of the usual goodies… chocolates, shortbread, mince pies etc.
Again this can be brought to our garage on 5th & 12th Dec or contact me and I will collect.
