Who are the Anchor Boys?

The Anchor Boys represent the youngest section in the BB and is for boys from P1 to P4. We meet every Monday night from 6.30 pm – 8.00 pm.

What do they do?

The Anchor Boys have lots of fun doing different activities which include making things, crafts, music, games, sports, stories, going on visits, making friends, and working towards their badges. We also have special ‘fun nights such as “cinema” nights and sports nights and we sometimes have special visitors along such as Owls and snakes! We also have special events when we join with the Junior Section and Company Section. Sometimes we even let parents come along too!

Body – fit for fun
A variety of games and physical activities .

Mind – think and do
Puzzles and quizzes, thinking games and treasure hunts, hobbies and collections.

Spirit – God and me

Community – me and my world

Creativity – make and do
Crafts, simple cooking, and mime and drama.

There are three triangular badges, one awarded in each year of Anchor Boys. The badges are worn on an armband. Upon transfer to Junior Section, the highest badge attained is worn on the Junior Section armband (bottom row), then transferred to the left arm upon joining Company Section.
