The building work has been helped by a mild winter allowing for good progress to be made.
On the new annexe, the steelwork is erected and brick and block work up to the first floor is now complete.
The first floor slabs are also installed.
Over the summer period work is being carried out in the existing building particularly on the ground floor. The kitchen, choir room and resources room will be removed along with the current lift shaft.
By September the congregation are looking forward to a new Megaw Hall with servery, a new ministers room and church office.
Upstairs the stage is being removed from the Frackelton Hall.
