Below are photos from the visit by the Lord Mayor to the teams who are involved in the Boxes of Hope project. The Lord Mayor, Frank McCoubry, awarded Certificates of Civic Duty to Bloomfield Presbyterian Church, Walkway Community Association, Beersbridge Road Elim and Bloomfield Community Centre. As this community outreach project was sponsored by Belfast City Council, the Lord Mayor expressed his appreciation on behalf of all BCC to the volunteers making a difference to families in our community this Christmas. BPC completed all our part of the project on Tuesday evening after a great response from our fellowship to help make and fill the boxes. Distribution will begin today.
