Dear Friends,

I was so encouraged when a member of congregation shared a verse of Scripture with me which had come to his mind during worship last Sunday.

“If you keep your feet from breaking the Sabbath and from doing as you please on my holy day: If you call the Sabbath a delight and the Lord’s holy day honourable, then you will find your joy in the Lord.”

Isaiah 58 vs13-14.

Isn’t that good?

Through putting worship of God first, then the joy of the Lord is our strength!

You know and I know that communal worship and calling Sunday a delight, set apart for Him, has always been a challenge, and Covid 19  lockdown restrictions haven’t made this decision any easier.

But God’s word remains true.

Even if we are precluded from physically meeting together in church, the routine of Livestreaming and encouraging family collective praise at home have never been more important.

And God’s promise remains gloriously true also.

“If you call the Sabbath a delight…then you will find your joy in the Lord.”

The mouth of the Lord has spoken..

Most Sincerely,  Frank
