The Arches Care Home contacted the church to see if we could get the children to draw pictures for the residents to cheer them up and help them not feel so isolated. A lot of the residents are feeling lonely and don’t understand the current situation.
We contacted the Kidzone parents and asked if they could get the children to create paper bouquets of flowers to give to the residents at the Arches Care Home.
We ended up with over 40 bouquets. The children wrote messages and Bible verses on the back to say that we are thinking about them and praying for them, and remind them that God is with them.
The care home were extremely grateful and said that the flowers would bring lots of joy to the residents at this difficult time.
