Dear Brothers,
We greet you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
These are unprecedented times, when the whole world is going through the pandemic. Times, when all churches have to continue their ministry outside of the building walls. Times, when we resonate with people that have been experiencing suffering and isolation. Times, when God’s promises are understood in a special way. Times, when we need each other even more.
We are grateful to God for being close in spirit with our dear brothers and sisters in Bloomfield Presbyterian Church. Together we have been ministering to the people that need to hear God’s Word – in Chisinau, in Ciuciuleni, in Dragusenii Noi. You joined us in praying for people in Golgota Baptist Church and for the ministries entrusted by God to us. During this time we have got to know each other and many people formed friendships and long-lasting connections.
We were joyful to hear that during these challenging times BPC is close to us in prayer and in financial support. We would like to acknowledge the receipt of the donation of £3100 for GBC and £100 for Dorcas. This gift will be used to show God’s love in practical ways to people in need. With God’s help we plan to bring food, hygiene items, and other items that will be seen as necessary for the people in Chisinau, Ciuciuleni and other locations we started ministering to. This is a very welcomed gift that came in difficult times. Many people lost their jobs and/or possibility to sell their produce in open air markets due to current situation. Unusually warm winter without snow and several months without rain have affected the crops and experts foresee scarcity of food this year. As God’s children we want to bring people hope by redirecting their attention to Jesus and also ministering to them in a practical way. We thank you for your love for Moldova and for your wholehearted gift.
We pray that God would keep you in His hands and help you go through this difficult time.
May the Word of God in Isaiah 43:1-2 encourage you:
Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel.
