On the 8th of January I am flying to Latin America, to take part in a Discipleship Training School with YWAM San Jose (Youth With A Mission). YWAM are a global Christian Mission Organisation, dedicated to serving God across the world. Their passion is to know God and to make him known. YWAM has many bases across the world, and I will be involved with their base in San Jose, Costa Rica. There I will start my 6 month Discipleship Training School (DTS) which is split into 2 parts.

The first 3 months I will spend in Costa Rica, during the “lecture phase”. During this time I will be involved in a mixture of biblical classroom teaching and local outreach. During the second 3 months, the “outreach phase”, I will be elsewhere in the world. The location of this part of the DTS will be determined later in the year, with the possibility that we remain in Costa Rica due to travel restrictions. This time is focused on serving God and making Him known through practical serving and small group and church based ministry.

I am really excited about the next 6 months and all that God has in store! It does however come with its challenges, and so I would really appreciate your prayers and support during these coming months, and I thank you in advance! I am blessed to have a wonderful church family at Bloomfield Presbyterian Church, and I am so thankful for each one of you who has supported and encouraged me.

If you would like to keep up to date with what I am doing and how God is working, I have set up a blog for family and friends to stay updated !
