In light of the current heightened risk of spread of the Covid-19 virus the Presbyterian Church in Ireland (PCI) have reviewed the situation.

They have advised that during all services of worship in PCI congregations everyone aged 13 and over, must continue to wear face coverings on entry and exit and now also during the entire service, unless you are exempt or leading from the front. Therefore face coverings should no longer be removed when seated at a service of worship, until the situation changes.

This tightening of restrictions however does not apply at present to bible study groups and prayer meetings, where because of smaller numbers, face coverings can continue to be removed once seated, apart from when singing.

In light of this we also now plan not to reduce the restrictions in the balcony of the church and therefore will maintain a gap between the pews in the gallery.

It is with regret that we announce these changes. Thankfully our trust is in the Lord and His strength.
